In response to quanta magazine article-Jammed Physics of Cancer
Its an eye-opening, and an insightful article i.e. to apply the concepts of physics to solve complex problems in biology. Taking the "jamming of cells" in solid tumors versus "un-jamming" in those cases where circulating tumor cells have escaped shows how the physical process of "phase transition" can be used to model migration in tumors. I think the challenge lies in the fact that biological systems are so much more complex than physical systems that modeling biological processess using physical equations , although extremely useful has to take into account the quantitative spatio-temporal regulatory processess that govern decision making in biological processes. For e.g abberant intrinsic gene expression profiles could lead to altered cell perimeter to underoot cell area ratio,so the migration model based on this number gives the threshold for jammimg/unjamming and migration but ultimately its the gene expression regulatory profile that will determine this ratio. The question then arises can we use a physical process such as "quantum entanglement" to see whether a signal transduction process that regulates gene expression could be used to determine whether genes are switched or not because if "entanglement" is determining how a distant molecule will behave depending on its interaction with a known molecule or the outcome of the interaction will be determined by the entanglement then the whole of gene regulatory processess which govern gene expression signatures could be modeled on this , and biological out comes could be predicted.

Musings: Origins of Life_Specificity
Origin of Life: A plausible mechanism for the origin of life where replication arose before metabolism.
Random bumping of atoms occur based on statistical probabilities,(reaction in a liquid such as water) followed by quantum entanglement,chemical bonds are formed, purine rings are formed which via entanglement (i.e quantum entanglement of the wave functions/states of the electrons of the constituent atoms) chains of purine rings are formed that form RNA. (I modify this to atoms whose resonance frequencies match undergo entanglement)
For propagation of information,i.e. sequence of bases, via RNA , through entanglement and subsequent base pairing , double stranded RNA is formed.
For "energy efficient" propagation of RNA, metabolism arose , so that amino acids tether onto this RNA to form peptides via entanglement.
Since large chunks of information have to be propagated in an energy efficient way and RNA is unstable, the blueprint of life DNA arose.
So is life energy efficient/specific propagation of information, where increase in entropy leads to species complexity.
Species Complexity ultimately declines after all energy efficient possible combinations have arisen and which now need to be maintained followed by gradual decline , because entropy of the universe increases (2nd law of Thermodynamics) but total energy remains the same (Ist law of thermodynamics).
This is counter intuitive as in the classical world, presently, during cell cycle G1 (metabolic) comes before the S (replicative) phase.
Since the cell has to be energy efficient inorder to replicate and divide, the classical cell cycle is where metabolism precedes replication. It is different from the underlying quantum origins of life, where replication precedes metabolism.

An Essay-A holographic multiverse-with mirror information
The multiverse comprises of energy fields (sphere of influence) for concentrated energies which are in equilibrium i.e symmetry exists in continuum in 1D.
Through perturbations/vibrations of these fields, symmetry is broken to give rise to complementary pairs of particles/vibrating strings, and the material universe arises at the 2D level which carries information. These complementary pairs of particles are entangled. Projection of this information (entanglement information and the vibratory state of the particles themselves) occurs ,onto another set of complementary entangled particles (the entanglement and vibrations are lower in this case, thus this set of particles is more flat-like a screen compared to the projected information) results in a 3D universe/multiverse (uni/multiverse depending on the interaction with the observer).
So "All mass is interaction is satisfied". This occurs at the 3D level.
The mathematics is the calculations of these vibratory energies and entanglement amounts.
Levels of existence:
The Multiverse is at the 3D level.
The emergent consciousness is at the 3D level, emerging from the brain i.e vibratory states and entanglement information projected from and to the brain, the brain acting as a source of information as well as a holographic screen. (The manifest image-Time is fundamental, Cause and effect-Transfer of information )
The underlying consciousness is at the 2D level and is the vibratory states and entanglement information without projection where the brain acts as a source of information but not a screen, i,e just the vibratory states and entanglement information of sub atomic, atomic particles of the brain (The scientific image-Time is emergent, only patterns, no cause and effect).
The pure awareness is in complete equilibrium without perturbations and involves the non interacting superposition state. No entanglement occurs for this state.
Why there is something rather than nothing:
Because positive energy (+something) i.e 3D holographic projection (like a pushing factor) of 2D quantum information as superposed vibrations (negative energy like a pulling factor, -something) cancel out, because of disintegration/disentanglement of holographic screen resulting in exposure of the non interacting superposition state i.e. equilibrium.It is like a structure breaking up to reveal the substrate. 3D projection is inversion of 2D information.

1D continnuum of energy distribution -pure awareness
What if the 3D universe is a complex holographic projection of 2D information.
What if entanglement of quarticles encodes information for the 3D holographic universe in 2D space.
What if meditation is a method to get back to disentangling the 3D projection of 2D information of quarticles (probability distributions/energy clouds) i.e the wave function. Meditation disentangles the entanglement of the mind with the environment at the level of 3D projection, by disentangling the 2D information(mind), with the holographic screen (level of brain).
The disentanglement results in cancellation of basic information (2D-pull like-negative vibratory states in a field) and projected information (3D-push like-positive vibratory states) and the underlying 1Dcontinuum of energy distribution is revealed which is awareness. Emergent Consciousness is 3D projection of 2D information both of which involve entanglement.
Advanced meditators possess lesser entangled 3D projection and consequent lesser 2D information, lesser vibratory impulses, and therefore are closer to the 1D continuum energy state.

Subjective experience and Entanglement
I observe a green leaf. During this process I entangle with the environment because photons of light reach the eye, cause electrochemistry in the brain followed by vision.
When my eyes are closed and a green leaf is present i do not experience it , because photons of light do not reach my eye. I am no longer entangled with the photons/environment.
Experience occurs with the entanglement process of the observer with the object of observation.
If we understand entanglement we will understand subjective experience.
We make an image of the object in the mind. When decoherence occurs there is disentangling of the observer with the object , then the image in the mind and the object fades away from thought. A memory is created when decoherence does not occur fully.

Maybe each structural layer of emergence has a set of properties in terms of vibrating frequency. Eg, the electron layer, the atom layer, the molecular interacting layer , all functioning in dynamic states .For the average energy of that layer tools of statistical mechanics will prove to be useful. For eg. the averaged contributions of the electrons vibrating, or the atoms vibrating , or the molecules vibrating. Energy with the Resonant frequency of each vibrating layer will help detect that layer. AI sensors which possess the same resonant frequency at that layer can help detect that layer. For the layer underlying space time one needs AI probes to match the resonant energy .
